Developing and Testing of the Principle Prototype for Efficient Micro-Damage Fine Stripping of Asphalt on the Surface of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement

In the current recycling process of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP), due to serious damage aggregate gradation and large amount aged still wrapped around surface treated aggregate, low rate poor performance recycled mixture are major problems RAP. view shortcomings RAP technology, it is urgent research new treatment methods design specialized asphalt-stripping equipment solve existing problems. this paper, based on theoretical analysis EDEM discrete element simulation, a principle prototype for efficient micro-damage fine stripping developed tested. The results demonstrate that has satisfactory effect achieves without large-scale crushing. This significant engineering application values, which provides solutions data support further development.
